Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Seekr is operated by LOLA DESARROLLO DE SOFTWARE Y COMUNICACIONES S.A.C. (RUC 20614786575), trading as Lima Research, based in Lima, Peru ("Seekr", "we", "us"). By creating an account, buying credits or using Seekr, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. The service

Seekr searches posts that are publicly visible on LinkedIn and shows you the ones where the author appears to be looking for a service like the one you describe. For each result we show who posted, what they asked for, why we think it is an opportunity, and a link to the original post. Seekr does not contact anyone on your behalf.

Sources. Today the main source is LinkedIn; we may add other platforms where people publicly ask for services. We retrieve posts through third-party search and data providers and only from content that is publicly available, without logging in to any account. We show posts as their authors published them, with a link to the original, and we never post, message, react or otherwise interact on any platform.

Seekr is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to LinkedIn or any other platform it searches. We don't ask for your LinkedIn login and never act on your LinkedIn account.

3. Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity in your account. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. One account per person; creating accounts to collect more free opportunities is not allowed.

4. Credits and payment

• New accounts get 3 free opportunities.
• After that, credits are sold as one-time packs. The current pack is 30 credits for $10 USD. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
• One credit unlocks one opportunity. Credits are spent only when an opportunity is unlocked, never for running a search.
• Credits don't expire while your account is open. They have no cash value and can't be transferred.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as our Merchant of Record and handles taxes, invoicing and payment processing. Your receipt comes from Dodo Payments.
• We may change pack prices in the future. That never affects credits you have already bought.

5. Refunds

Unused credits can be refunded as described in our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Seekr or the people you find through it to send spam, harass anyone, discriminate, or break the law. Don't resell or publish results in bulk, scrape or overload Seekr, or try to reverse engineer it. How you contact the people you find is your responsibility and must follow applicable laws, including anti-spam and data protection laws, and LinkedIn's own rules. We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

7. Results are automatic

Search terms, the classification of each post and the reason shown are generated automatically and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. A post may be edited or deleted after we find it. Seekr does not guarantee that any result leads to a client or a sale.

8. Intellectual property

Seekr, its software and brand belong to Lima Research. LinkedIn posts belong to their authors; we show excerpts and a link so you can read the original. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Seekr and the results for your own business.

9. Availability

Seekr is provided "as is", without uptime guarantees. Searches depend on third parties and on what LinkedIn makes public, so a search can fail or return fewer results than usual. A search that fails never uses credits.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or revenue. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

11. Ending the service

You can close your account at any time. If we ever decide to shut Seekr down, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and refund your unused paid credits.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Seekr after that date, the new Terms apply.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Peru. Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of Lima, Peru.
